We are to be based for the whole period on a big campsite on the Garda lake that is the biggest, the most beautiful and clean lake in Italy. Everyday (with exception of Wednesday 28th June that is a free day), we'll make nice tours on water and land in this wonderful region; due to navigation rules and weather conditions we'll give you detailed program of the day trips on your arrival to the campsite. The campsite is of course on the lake's shore and is equipped with a large and smooth slipway available day and night. If you like more comfortable accomodation, you can book directly in one of the following hotels:

Due to lake navigation rules every amphibious vehicle has to be insured and must be equipped with one life jacket per person. |

If you have VHF radio equipment please bring it with for better co-ordination (we'll use marine channel 11 that is 156.550 MHZ). Petrol station is only a few hundred meters from the campsite. Remember to fill up your tank every evening (open till 7 pm Saturday afternoon and Sunday is closed). Wednesday 28th June is a free day. If you are not busy with usual maintenance or leaks hunting, we can arrange a bus for a visit to Venice that is 160 km from Manerba del Garda. You must inform the organisation before Sunday 25th evening. Campsite has room enough
for parking trailers and big trucks as well. The entrance gate is
large but the bend for entering the gate is quite sharp. |
